It is the First Friday of August! Tonight is full of events throughout the area. It is a beautiful day to take a walk, then cool off while viewing some fantastic art!

PHOENIXVILLE

🎨 It is time for the Phoenixville Pottery Festival! Tonight, August 2nd from 5:30 to 8:30, there will be demos, shows, and more taking over the Bridge & Main Parking Lot in Downtown PXV.

🎨 Harriet Hill is Flourishing at Art Work Gallery, with an Opening Reception from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, and is on view through August.

🎨 Collabery Art Gallery will be out in front of The Boardroom on Bridge Street tonight from 5 to 9ish and tomorrow from 3 to 8ish, weather pending.

🎨 See a Pop-Up Preview of the new studio Quiet Space in front of 260 Bridge Café. This art studio, which is a progressive space for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will have a public-facing storefront and gallery, as well as studio spaces for artists, when it opens, with daily programming and more.

🎨 Ceramics artists Matthew Wren’s solo show kicks off with an Opening Reception from 2 to 5 pm at Soltane Café.

🎨 Ravensgate presents Other Worlds from Abby Haduck, with an Opening Reception from 6 to 8 pm. It is on view through August!

WEST CHESTER

🎨 Explore the new Art Loop in Downtown West Chester while visiting all the First Friday events in town!

🎨 Ginkgo Arts has an Open Studio from 5 to 8 pm, featuring new artists joining their already fabulous lineup.

🎨 Nightingale Materials, a new Art Supply & Gifts Store, has a First Friday Still Life Contest and a Featured Artist Reception at 5 pm.

🎨 Church Street Gallery is showing “And Now For Something Completely Different” from Josh Holi, on view through August.

 

AROUND THE BRANDYWINE

🎨 The Wilmington Art Loop is packed with galleries, exhibitions, and events! From 5 to 8 pm, visit galleries throughout town, with live music and more.

🎨 Daily Encounters by Stacy Caldwell opens at Oxford Arts Alliance, with a Reception from 5 to 8 pm.
